As of Wednesday April 28th, the Ocoee River will have about 1100 CFS of water in the river bed when there is not a scheduled release. Another land slide took out a huge section of the flume line and it is going to be a little while to get it repaired. Good news is the Ocoee Rafting will continue on the Ocoee River and we can now raft 7 days a week. If you would like to take part in a low water rafting trip, Raft One is more than willing to take you.

Raft One was featured on News Channel 9 the other day. Here is the clip of what publicity we got from the landslide. It was an awesome shot of the van with www.Raft1.com.

That’s right! The 17th the Ocoee is going to release for the 2010 spring rafting season. We are so excited to get back out on the Ocoee and get our season rolling. Don’t forget that there is tons of things to do in the Ocoee River region. Since the river isn’t running, when they release for Ocoee rafting, we should get a touch of extra water!

Only 19 more days till the Ocoee River is open again. I can’t wait to do some Ocoee rafting in the chilly weather! It’s seem like this winter has been especially long being the focus on the Ocoee River landslide and not knowing the release date for the Ocoee River. Also, usually the Middle releases Mid March. You can book your Ocoee River Adventures with Raft One anytime!
